Team Animeeple
![]() | Okan ArikanOkan is a co-founder of Animeeple. He got his M.S. and Ph.D. from Berkeley in computer science. His thesis was about motion synthesis, but he also worked on photorealistic rendering and scalable simulations for virtual environments. He then joined University of Texas, Austin as an assistant professor in Fall 2005 and worked on making 3D content easier to create and use. To facilitate this idea further, he started Animeeple with Leslie in 2008. He published papers at TOG, SCA, Siggraph and GDC. Okan's homepage |
![]() | Leslie IkemotoLeslie Ikemoto is a co-founder of Animeeple. She graduated with her Ph.D. from Berkeley in computer science. Her thesis was about methods for making 3D character animation accessible to novice users. She published papers in TOG and SCA, and spoke at GDC. She was a President’s Scholar at Stanford, where she got her B.S. and M.S. in computer science. Her Master’s thesis won the Stevenson prize for best in the department.
